Private Lessons with Cassie D
Cassie, a native of Southwest Florida, is pursuing a Masters of Musical Arts degree at the Yale School of Music, studying with Ettore Causa. Previously, she studied at the Colburn Conservatory, where she received her Bachelor and Masters degrees under the tutelage of Paul Coletti and Yura Lee. Cassie has appeared as a soloist with the Arits-Naples Philharmonic, Sarasota Music Festival Orchestra, Colburn Orchestra, and the Bravo Summer Music Festival, among others. An avid chamber musician, Cassia has collaborated with musicians from the Tokyo, Calidore, and New Orford String Quartet, and is a current member of the Alameda String Quartet and the Kontrapunktus Baroque Ensemble.
Cassie enjoys teaching and has maintained an active private studio for over 10 years, teaching both violin and viola. She has previously taught at various programs and institutions, such as Colburn Jumpstart Strings, Naples Youth Symphonia, Stories and Strings of Los Angeles, and Mason Classical Academy.
